On the occasion of Children's Day, Class XI Council, representing the entire RKK family, visited the Luv Kush Orphanage. This enriching experience left an indelible mark, fostering a profound sense of gratitude, empathy, and a renewed perspective on life.
As Mahatma Gandhi wisely said, "The best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of others." The visit to the orphanage was a testament to this phrase. They discovered the resilience and positivity of the children, who, despite their circumstances, radiated joy and hope.
Upon arrival, the students were enveloped into the positive energy around them. The campus tour revealed a well-organized infrastructure catering to the children's diverse needs, including computer classes, vocational learning classes, study classes, and recreational spaces. The students were impressed by the exceptional facilities and services provided, demonstrating the organization's commitment to nurturing these young minds.
Interacting with the children was truly humbling. They also witnessed their strong bond with the caregivers, whom they affectionately called "mothers". The dedication of these mothers to make this place a home for them was clearly reflected through the cleanliness, hygiene and food.
Food and medical items were donated and the children returned with grateful hearts, valuing every small thing in life.
