Rajmata Krishna Kumari Girls' Hostel Desuri Visit

A group of 90 ambitious girls from RKKGH visited RKKGPS . Arriving around 8 pm on 20th September, they were warmly welcomed by teachers and boarders in the DSC foyer. After a delicious meal at the Annapurna dining hall, they attended a dance workshop before retiring for the night.
The next morning began with a Self-defense workshop where the girls learned techniques for personal safety, followed by a hearty breakfast. At 10 a.m., they embarked on an educational trip to Mehrangarh Fort and Umaid Bhawan Palace, gaining insights into Jodhpur's rich history and royalty. After lunch, they participated in an Art Workshop, mastering the ancient craft of tie-and-dye, proudly carrying home their creations.
The evening continued with games at the Tennis Court, where they won chocolates and enjoyed themselves before preparing for the evening’s cultural program. Dressed in vibrant poshaks, the girls showcased traditional folk dances and performed a lively Bollywood number. A powerful poem on "Naari Shakti" earned a standing ovation and a speech on Women Empowerment left the audience inspired. Their recent win in the district-level Hand Ball Championship was also celebrated, with Principal Ma'am applauding their achievements and encouraging them to keep striving toward Rajmata Sahiba's vision. She further announced that this visit would become an annual tradition, extending to two nights in the future, much to the delight of the girls.
The evening ended with souvenir presentations, photography, and a quiz, followed by dinner and interaction with the boarders. The final morning featured a POCSO session led by the School Counselors, after which the girls departed for Desuri, filled with memories of an unforgettable experience.
