WORLD SOIL DAY

An awareness session was held on 5th December (World Soil Day)  for the students of grade 1 to 5 at RKK. The session was taken by Mrs. Sharandeep Kumari, who explained the importance of soil and the micro-organisms living in it. 
A discussion on the factors leading to soil degradation were also done whereby students were explained about the importance of organic content of soil and the major causes of degrading its quality. To further spread awareness among masses special stickers mentioning “Save soil”  were distributed amongst students and they were informed to discuss with their parents about the importance of soil and the need to protect it. To support us in this “Save soil awareness program they were also requested to paste the “Save soil” sticker on the car or bike (any vehicle available) at home. Students pledged to support in this campaign and promised to do everything that supports for the soil.
