Adventure aims at increasing productivity, encourages students to work in different working environment, builds team spirit, friendship and trust amongst each other.
Students’ journey through an academic session is incomplete without some co-curricular fun activities. Keeping this in mind, a group of 14 students attended an Adventure Program on 30th September with their escort teachers, Mrs. Sita Kumari ma’am and Mr. Trevor Vincent sir, under International Award for Youth Programme. Set amidst tranquil surroundings, the organizer Kites Adventure World was clean and well-maintained. It was a day camp that offered a positive and safe environment where children could gain confidence and self-esteem. This camp helped them to develop basic athletic skills such as balancing coordination and to enjoy the adventures. The students were seen bubbling with excitement as they headed to participate in such activities for the first time. Many activities that enhance the gross motor skills were set up on the field. It encompassed an array of adventure activities like
1- Rope Swing
2- Rope Course
3- Zorb Ball
4- Cycle Zipline
5- Air Gun Shooting
6- Ground Obstacle Course
The preparation of breakfast and lunch by own selves had truly enhanced the experience of rural adventure.
With an active, well-trained and zealous group of facilitators, the camp turned out to be tremendously successful. The amount of energy and enthusiasm exhibited by the students was enthralling. In all it was an enjoyable day and everyone returned with fond memories.
