FLAME UNIVERSITY, PUNE (OXFORDMUN INDIA 2025 & HARVARD SUSTAINABILITY IMPACT SUMMIT 2025)


A team of 15 students from RKK attended the  Knowledge Festival 2025, curated by MU20 School of Opportunity and hosted at FLAME University, Pune from August 4-6, 2025. The festival brought together two world-class conferences, OxfordMUN India 2025 and the Harvard Sustainability Impact Summit 2025.

The 2025 edition of OxfordMUN India unfolded with grandeur and intellectual depth, firmly establishing itself as one of the most prestigious Model United Nations experiences in the country. Over 500 students from 100+ schools represented nations across the globe, engaging in diplomacy and strategic debate across eight committees, each addressing a distinct global issue.

RKK’s Oxford MUN TEAM comprised Sakshi Rathore of Class XI, Navya Jain and Parilakshaya of Class X, Yagnya Tak, Agrima Bais, Sneha Bansal and Siddhi Rathore of Class IX.

The sessions were moderated by students from Oxford University, ensuring not only procedural excellence but also the highest standards of knowledge delivery and debate quality. Delegates navigated complex geopolitical challenges, drafting resolutions and engaging in negotiation with precision and diplomacy.

Special Highlights :

Innovation Challenge: A pre-conference competition where four outstanding students were awarded 100% scholarships to OxfordMUN India 2025.

Power Drill: An intense skills-based challenge where 16 winners received vouchers worth ₹10,000 each from Veg Non-Veg.

Power Talks:

Mr. Abhishek Gupta shared practical insights on profile building and story making for admissions.

Prof. Yugank Goyal (FLAME University) delivered an impactful talk on policy and international relations.

The inaugural edition of the Harvard Sustainability Impact Summit marked a significant milestone in youth-driven sustainability discourse in India. Bringing together students from 100+ schools, the summit was held in collaboration with the Harvard Project for Asian and International Relations (HPAIR) and featured eight SDG tracks. Each track was moderated by students from Harvard University, guiding participants through rigorous discussions and solution-building exercises.

RKK’s HSIS team consisted of Pearl Rathi of Class X,  Virika Jain, Anadya Jain, Bhavya Bhadu, Sunehari Birla, Suhani Birla, Sanvi Soni and Ira Gehlot of Class XII.

One of the summit’s signature components was the Creative Advocacy Round, where students delivered presentations, musicals, and collaborative performances, a dynamic blend of policy thinking and creative expression. This process culminated in the adoption of one standout problem statement for policy-making consideration, demonstrating the tangible impact of the summit’s work.

Power Talks:

C.A. Sarthak Ahuja spoke on entrepreneurship and financial literacy.

Mr. Ronnie Screwvala shared insights from his journey as a visionary entrepreneur and philanthropist.

Anadya Jain received an individual award under the Social Catalyst category for SDG 1(No Poverty) and Sunehari Birla won the same in SDG 6 (Clean Water and Sanitation).
