SHARING AND BONDING

In order to grow through inter-cultural experiences, an Inter State Exchange Program was executed by RKK under the aegis of American Field Service. Working on the same ideology of AFS, an International Organization that provides Intercultural learning opportunities to help people develop the knowledge, skills and understanding needed to create a more just and peaceful world, RKK hosted 10 students and a teacher escort from Queens’ College, Indore from 13th December to 21st December 2015 and sent 10 students and a teacher escort to Queens’ College, Indore from 16th December to 24th December 2015.

This exchange has been a wonderful opportunity to share our Heritage and Ideals, our Code and Standards with an array of activities. It was a visual treat to witness the RKK campus lively and vibrant fostering a creative environment to explore and contribute to lessons of love and co-existence. The experience gained has enriched our lives forever. It has opened the door to a world of possibilities.

The visits organized for the Queens to Kaylana Lake, Masuriya Hills, Marugarh Resorts, Osian Temple, Sand Dunes, Arna-Jharna – The Desert Museum of Rajasthan, Mandore Garden, Mehrangarh Fort and Umaid Bhawan Palace made the entire hosting memorable & treasured.

RKK feels proud to be a member of American Field Service. Profuse gratitude to AFS, under whose auspices RKK has been able to conduct this wonderful exchange with Queens’ College, Indore. This hosting had been for just seven days but the memories are similar to seven ages. The Queens from Queens’ College, Indore made a difference in the lives of RKKians with their cordial presence leaving behind unforgettable memories to cherish and hold them tight.
