On 23rd January 2015 Class VIII was taken to the Army base at 19 FAD Banar under the Round Square Pillar 'Adventure'. This enriching and exciting journey helped the children to understand the role of defense services in our nation’s well being.
The group of students alternated between the Obstacle Course, the Fire Fighting demonstration, the Guns display and many more activities instilling a passion and fiery spirit in students to join the Armed Forces. Obstacles like the Commando Net, Horizontal Rope, Vertical Rope, Tarzan Rope taught them courage and boosted their confidence. They were all allowed to let loose and display their strength on ways to extinguish different kinds of fire. The curious minds of the young RKKians compelled them to ask questions and settle their queries during the demos by the Army Contingents and lectures on the working and the structure of the Indian Armed Forces. This visit opened a new frontier in the exploration of good learning and propelled the students to look for new milestones even though the effort seemed hard or painful.
