Robo-Tricks - A Robotics Spectacle made its debut at Rajmata School on 14th October in the Junior Computer Lab. This event brought together the brightest young minds from classes 6A and 7A to showcase their talent and innovation in the field of robotics. The competition was meticulously designed to encourage creativity, teamwork, and problem-solving.
Twenty students were selected through rigorous criteria.
Each team built a different Rover falling under the categories of obstacle-avoiding bots and push bots with variations in sensor usage, particularly focusing on Infra-Red and Ultrasonic sensors.
The teams had approximately 2 hours to assemble their rovers and develop the code.
After the projects were ready, each team was required to present their bots to the judges explaining both the hardware and logic implementation. An arena was created by the IT team to test the functionality of the rovers, offering a real-world testing scenario.
The competition was judged based on the following criteria:
Code cleanliness, Circuit accuracy, Presentation by each team and performance of the bot.
The panel of judges included Mr. Jasvinder Pal Singh, the Dean IT and Mr Jitendra.
