‘Eat healthy day and night to make your future bright’
Keeping the above line in mind, ‘Wholesome Nourishing Platters’ was planned by class 5, for a virtual EVS competition held on 11th February, 2022.
It was a group activity, comprising 4/5 children in each. The groups planned their menu as per the state allotted to exhibit a balanced meal. Members prepared the food items as per the group’s menu. A video was made by each group exhibiting the platter, its nourishing/dietary details, information about deficiency diseases caused due to lack of important nutrients present in the dish.
On the day of competition, the platter was presented by the group members along with the relevant information. Eminent judges, Ms Ranjita Rao, Ms Anamika Singh and Ms Tanima Katoch were present to motivate the children.
