VIRTUAL SUMMER CAMP 2020-21

Virtual Summer Camp

For the first time in the history of RKK, a virtual summer camp was organised for the children of Pre primary classes.

Although none of us could go out, we turned the summer holidays into a fun 'staycation'!

Through virtual interactive sessions with their teachers, the students of nursery, kindergarten and preparatory indulged in innovative craft activities involving fork painting, fingerprinting, cotton dabbing, paper tearing and sticking, paper folding, thermocol glass printing and dough imprinting.

Some of the wonderful masterpieces created by them included flowers, movable toy snails, crabs, frogs and coasters.

There were entertaining and riveting poem and storytelling sessions narrated with pictures, toys and puppets as well as mind boggling riddles!

The yummilicious cooking activities were a real hit too! Our little ones learnt how to make easy summer eats and drinks like lemon juice, milkshakes, sandwiches, papri chaat and many others. watching the little master chefs assemble every ingredient and cook on their own was an absolute delight!

Along with all the amusement and enjoyment there were also many videos created covering topics of general awareness, ranging from animals, shapes and growing seeds, to the concept of sinking and floating, our national symbols, and healthy habits.

So all in all RKK's summer camp brought home a fun, constructive and entertaining summer 'stay-vacation' for for the tiny tots off the pre primary!

Summer camp is a great place to learn new skills and hone the existing ones. RKK organizes a  summer camp every year and this year keeping children's safety and  social distancing in mind, it was conducted online in the month of June for the students of grades from Nursery to V . Our tiny tots attended it with a lot of enthusiasm and energy. They were provided sessions for dance, singing, craft making and story-telling. Beautiful stories, woven around situations in which we are living right now, not only entertained the children but also passed meaningful life lessons to them. They listened intently, imbibing the wisdom of the stories.  Each and every participant gave soulful renditions in their online music sessions. Our little rockstars held nothing back when they danced to the foot tapping melodies. They poured their hearts out in the craft activity classes and created very unique craft pieces. Everyone was amazed with the boundless imagination and innovation these young kids are capable of.All our little stars thoroughly enjoyed it and mastered various skills which was evident by their excellent performances in various classes. We, at RKK wish that they keep learning, enjoying and  adding new talents, always. Gyanam Brahma.
