EVERY STEP MAKES RKKIANS STRONG

On 23rd & 24th December 2019, a workshop on debating was organized for the students of Classes VIII, IX, X and XI. This workshop was facilitated by the executive member of the Ramjas Debating Society and the Debating Head of Aawaaz Education Service, Mr Ramakrishnan Lokanathan. He discussed the various forms and patterns of debating with the students and emphasized the importance of an unbiased argument and the development of Assertion and Reasoning skills. He elaborated the concept of Parliamentary debating to the students and discussed the prevalent national issues such as the citizenship Amendment Act and NRC, Article 370 and the Reservation system. The students witnessed an interactive and participative session, which helped them to boost their confidence and to understand the nuances and technicalities of debating.
