An essay writing competition was organised by Heartfulness Education Trust, Shri Ram Chandra Mission in collaboration with UNESCO MGIEP and United Nations Information Centre for India and Bhutan from
12th August, 2021 to 30th November 2021. The theme of the event was to narrate a story from our own life experience or one of our relatives, friends, neighbours or associates on acts of kindness to others or kindness to the environment.
The participants from RKK were - Arushi Malu – IX, Anvi Mehta – IX, Satakshi Sati –IX, Paridhi Mehta –XII and Gauri Baxi – XI.
The event was organised at a Global level for the first time in 2021 and attracted participation from 74 countries. It was an excellent opportunity provided by the school to the participants who were able to explore under the guidance of teacher incharge, Ms Awanesh Sharma, the concept of kindness in wider sense that Kindness is prevalent all around us and is much needed in these hard and tough times when the world is experiencing natural disasters, pandemic and terrorist violence etc.
Every one realized that the strength of kindness is infinite.Small acts of kindness continue to bring enormous changes and we all can make a difference in this
world we live in.
Merit Certificates have been awarded to Anvi Mehta Satakshi Sati Gauri Baxi.
