RANG MALHAR

On 15th July 2018, “Rang Malhar” was held at the Mahila Bagh, Jhalva - a beautiful place  in the heart of old Jodhpur City. Initiated by Dr Vidhyasagar Upadhyaya, nine years ago, the purpose of this annual event is to unite the public to create art as a welcome prayer to good rainfall. Held on the same day in 13 cities of Rajasthan, it was ‘Rang Malhar’ organised for the first time in Jodhpur. The theme for this year was ‘Lantern Painting’.  Organized by Mr Keshav Varnoti and Mr Yatheesh Kasargod in collaboration with Kalp Chitrakala Parishad, the event was witnessed by many senior artists, college students and art enthusiasts of RKK.
