LOHRI CELEBRATION IN BOARDING


On 13th January 2018, on the occasion of Lohri which marks the end of winter season and is a traditional welcome of longer days, all the boarders had bonfire followed by the Prayer, Parikrama and distribution of Prasad among the boarders and In-House Staff. Students who volunteered sang songs followed by an astounding DJ. Special Menu in Dinner, Sarso Ka Saag, Makke Ki Roti, sheaves of roasted corn from the new harvest, Sugarcane products such as gajak, ground nuts and jaggery were central to traditional cuisine of RKK’s Lohri celebration.
