On 9th May 2026, Rajmata Krishna Kumari Girls’ Public School organised a meaningful community outreach initiative under the Hamara Prayaas Project at Bhilo Ka Bas Nandri, Jodhpur. The initiative focused on promoting menstrual hygiene awareness and distributing sanitary napkins to rural women, reflecting the school’s continued commitment towards social responsibility and community welfare.
The drive was led and carried out by the Boarders of the school, who actively participated with enthusiasm, empathy, and dedication. During the visit, the students interacted respectfully with the women of the village and spread awareness regarding the importance of menstrual hygiene, safe and hygienic practices, proper usage and disposal of sanitary pads, and the need to overcome myths and misconceptions associated with menstruation.
The sanitary napkin distribution was conducted in an organized and sensitive manner, ensuring dignity, comfort, and ease for all the beneficiaries. The initiative received an encouraging response from the local community and created a positive impact by fostering awareness and accessibility to essential menstrual hygiene products.
Through such initiatives, the school continues to uphold its vision of holistic education by encouraging students to become socially aware, compassionate, and responsible citizens who contribute meaningfully towards community development and empowerment.
