RKK BAND PARTICIPATION AT 77TH REPUBLIC DAY PARADE, JODHPUR


On 26th January 2026 Rajmata Krishna Kumari Girls’ Public School, Bagpiper Band achieved a momentous feat by clinching the 1st Prize in their maiden appearance at the 77th District-level Republic Day parade, Umaid Stadium, Jodhpur. Competing against established units, the newly-formed band stunned the audience with their musical prowess and synchronized movement.

The ceremony was presided over by the Chief Guest, Shri Jogaram Patel (Cabinet Minister, Government of Rajasthan), who hoisted the National Flag. Other distinguished guests in attendance included:

Shri Gaurav Agrawal, District Collector, Jodhpur

Shri Om Prakash-I, Commissioner of Police, Jodhpur

Clad in traditional Highland attire with a Rajasthani flair, the band performed a flawless medley of Sare Jaha se accha. The haunting resonance of the bagpipes combined with the sharp, rhythmic beats of the side drums left the spectators spellbound.

While presenting the trophy, Minister Jogaram Patel remarked that the band's "extraordinary discipline reflects the vibrant spirit of Jodhpur's youth." The victory was met with thunderous applause, marking a proud beginning for the school's musical legacy.
