Under the benevolent umbrella of the Hanwant Singhji Charitable Trust, a remarkable chapter of empowerment was written with the grand inauguration of the “Sakhi Shakti Project”. The event was graced by the esteemed presence of “Her Highness Maharani Hemlata Rajye Sahiba”, whose commitment to social upliftment has long been a beacon of inspiration.
The afternoon of the 23rd of September 2025 was enriched with the inaugural ribbon-cutting ceremony, an act that symbolized the opening of doors to independence, dignity, and opportunity for countless women. As the ribbon fell away, it was as though a horizon of possibilities unfurled before all gathered.
A warm welcome address followed, where gratitude mingled with hope, acknowledging the collective dream that had brought everyone together. Soon after, the hall resonated with the soulful strains of “Hum Honge Kamyaab”, a song that stitched unity and determination into the very fabric of the occasion.
Our Principal Ma’am then addressed the gathering, emphasizing how education and empowerment go hand in hand, and how service to others is the highest form of leadership. Her words reminded everyone present that this project is not merely about stitching garments but about weaving self- reliance into lives.
The highlight of the event was undoubtedly the address by Maharani Sahiba. Speaking with warmth and conviction, she unveiled the vision behind the project: empowering women with skill, confidence, and dignity. Her message was simple yet profound—when a woman gains strength, the entire family, community, and society blossom with her. Her words were not just spoken, but felt, leaving a deep imprint on every heart.
The program drew to a close with a heartfelt Vote of Thanks, appreciating the vision of Maharani Sahiba, the trust, and every contributor who had made this initiative possible. Yet, the spirit of the event will continue long after the applause faded, for Sakhi Shakti is not merely a project but a movement—one that will ripple through generations.
