As a part of ongoing initiative Hamara Prayaas under project Shakti a visit was conducted to Jud Village on 13th September 2025, Saturday. The primary objective of the visit was to distribute sanitary napkins.
The objective of the visit was to educate women and adolescent girls in rural areas about safe menstrual practices, the outreach focused on the importance of using Sanitary napkins and awareness about health and hygiene.
The sanitary napkins were distributed at Anganwadi center across the village. The women and young girls gathered with warmth curiosity resulted in an interactive and insightful power talk. Many of them asked thoughtful question shared their personal stories and even answered queries confidently.
For the students of RKKGPS the visit to Jud was profound and eye opening experience. Interacting directly with the rural community allowed them to gain a deeper understanding of the social and health related challenges faced by women especially regarding menstrual hygiene. The experience nurtured a strong sense of empathy, social responsibility and leadership among the students. It was especially encouraging to witness the eagerness of the women to learn and adapt despite the limitations of their environment.
