DISTRIBUTION OF SANITARY NAPKINS

On 2nd August 2025, as part of the school’s commitment to social welfare and women’s health, a community outreach program was conducted under the initiative of Hamara Prayaas. The project focused on distributing sanitary napkins and creating awareness around menstrual hygiene among underserved women and adolescent girls.

We were honored to have Mrs. Rajshri Choudhary, a member of the Rotary Padmini Club, accompany the team and support the initiative. The students of Rajmata Krishna Kumari Girls’ Public School, under the guidance of two teacher escorts, participated in a meaningful outreach activity. Sanitary napkins were distributed to the following locations i.e Narega sites of Banar, Salwa Kalan and Dahikheda and Women Central Jail aiming to spread awareness, ensures access, and normalizes conversations around menstrual health.

The feedback from the inmates was overwhelmingly positive. Several inmates thanked the students for their kindness and noted that such visits helped them feel valued and connected to the outside world. The initiative was met with gratitude to all the venues. Students gained exposure to real-world challenges and learned the importance of empathy and service
