On
17th April, 2025, a group of
21 students from Grades
IX to XII, along with
Ms. Nupur Goyal and Mr. Navjot Singh Bhati, visited the Cyber Cell in Jodhpur for an insightful workshop on cyber safety. These students are active members of our school’s Cyber Squad, a team dedicated to supporting peers in handling online issues and promoting digital awareness.
The session, conducted by Manish Mehra (programmer) and by Mr. Mahipal and Mr. Ratan Beniwal, cybercrime officials, focused on the growing need to stay safe in the digital world. Key topics such as phishing, cyberbullying, and online scams—particularly those happening through social media and messaging platforms—were discussed in detail. The officers emphasized real-life examples and highlighted how such threats are often more common than we realize.
What truly enriched the experience was the interactive nature of the workshop. Students shared their own experiences and concerns, while the officials provided thoughtful guidance and solutions. The opportunity to engage with police personnel handling real cybercrime cases added a layer of practical understanding to the session.
The hour-long workshop was a valuable learning experience and offered our students meaningful exposure to the world of cyber law and safety. It strengthened their commitment to creating a safer digital environment within the school and beyond.
We look forward to more such enriching visits in the future.
