On 24th December 2024 in an inspiring initiative of social service, the students of the Hamara Prayaas Club and the Interact Club of Rajmata Krishna Kumari Girls’ Public School organized special activities at the Sevakunj Girls’ Hostel in Pratap Nagar, Jodhpur. The program saw participation from teachers Sarita Ratnu Ma’am and Chhavi Ma’am, along with 25 students.
The event commenced with an introductory session after reaching Sevakunj by the school bus. The students presented a street play promoting the message of cleanliness. Following this, they contributed to social service by distributing essential items such as food supplies, warm clothes, sanitary pads, shoes, and books to the girls residing at the hostel.
The primary objective of this initiative was to fulfill the basic needs of the hostel residents and express solidarity and support for them. The initiative received widespread appreciation. The joy on the faces of the hostel girls was evident, and they expressed gratitude to the school for this thoughtful gesture. This effort once again highlighted the fact that educational institutions play a crucial role not only in imparting education but also in contributing significantly to social service.
