SERVICE ENDEAVOUR

On 24th December, 2024 a group of students from RKKGPS, Jodhpur, under the aegis of Interact Club visited the Women  Central Jail , Jodhpur as part of an outreach initiative aimed at providing sanitary napkins and personal hygiene utility items to support the  incarcerated individuals. The purpose of the visit was to engage with the inmates through educational, emotional, and practical assistance, fostering a spirit of empathy and inculcating the need to help others. The officer in charge and many inmates expressed gratitude for the support.

The feedback from the inmates was overwhelmingly positive. Several inmates thanked the students for their kindness and noted that such visits helped them feel valued and connected to the outside world. They appreciated the educational sessions, as many had not had the opportunity to further their education during their time in prison. The mental health support was also highly regarded, as many inmates were dealing with feelings of loneliness and isolation.
