"Empowering women starts with providing access to the most basic necessities. Distributing sanitary pads isn't just about hygiene, it's about dignity, equality, and enabling women to pursue their dreams without interruption."On 8th February (Thursday) 2024, the team of Hamara Prayaas went to Mahatma Gandhi Government School, Balsamand, Jodhpur.
Awareness on health and menstrual hygiene was conducted through Nukkad Natak performance by Hamara Prayaas club students. Following the session on menstrual hygiene, the event commenced with the distribution of books. The books, ranging from textbooks to storybooks, were handed out to students of various grade levels. Thereafter, sanitary Napkins were distributed to all. The visit for the noble cause was a resounding success, furthering the objectives of the Shakti Project in empowering young girls through education and health awareness.
The Principal was thankful and expressed his appreciation for the support, emphasizing the importance of such initiatives in promoting education and well-being among the students.
