The Annual Education World India School Rankings (EWISR) is the world’s largest and most comprehensive school rankings survey. In the forthcoming Education World India School Rankings 2023-24, under the critical parameter of teacher quality and competence of faculty, the CENTA® Teacher Subject Competency Test (TSCT) was taken by representative teachers in schools. This test was designed, administered, and scored by CENTA (Centre for Teacher Accreditation), India’s pioneer and most respected teacher training and certification company (estb 2014).
On
May 13, 2023, from 5.00 pm to 5.30 pm, CENTA® conducted a Teacher Competency Exam aimed at assessing the skills and knowledge of teachers across various subjects and grade levels. The conduction of Teacher Competency Exam was a significant step toward assessing and enhancing the competencies of teachers across various subjects from middle school. The comprehensive nature of the exam provided valuable insights into the strengths and areas for improvement among the examined teachers. The subjects covered were English, Mathematics and Science.
EXAM FORMAT – The exam consisted of Multiple-Choice Questions.
