SUNBEAM SCHOOL, LAHARTARA (RS ZOOM POSTCARD)

Sunbeam School, Lahartara hosted an engaging and thought-provoking RS Zoom Postcard on 26th August 2026 on the topic “For A Leader” by Domenhue. The session provided students with an opportunity to reflect on the true essence of leadership and explore the qualities that enable a leader to inspire, guide, and bring about meaningful change. Priyanshi Sewkani, Anvi Raj, Priyanshi Choudhary, Kaatyaini Kumari Deora, Mira Jangid and Muskan Mehra, supported by their Teacher Incharge, Ms. Priyal Chouhan, comprised RKK’s team.

At the beginning of the session, the participants were divided into breakout rooms, where they interacted with students from different schools and got to know one another. To create a comfortable and cheerful atmosphere, the session included a series of fun ice-breaker questions, which were answered by all the participants. These activities encouraged everyone to participate actively and helped the students feel more connected and comfortable with one another.

The participants were then introduced to the poem “For A Leader” by Domenhue and its central ideas. The discussion encouraged them to look beyond the conventional understanding of leadership and understand that true leadership is not simply about authority or being in charge. The session highlighted several important qualities that a leader should possess, including deep listening, humility, empathy, integrity, patience, courage, adaptability, responsibility, and the ability to inspire others. Students reflected on how listening attentively to others and remaining humble can be just as important as having confidence and taking initiative.

The session concluded on a positive and reflective note with a vote of thanks by the host. The RS Zoom Postcard was an enriching experience that enabled the participants to connect with students from diverse backgrounds while strengthening their communication, collaboration, and leadership skills. It left the participants with a deeper understanding of what it truly means to lead with purpose, compassion, and humility.
