The Round Square Zoom Postcard on
“Happiness Hacks: What Makes Us Happy?”, hosted by The Indian High School, Dubai, on
19th August 2026, brought together students from different schools for an engaging exchange of ideas, experiences, and perspectives on one of life’s simplest yet most meaningful questions—what truly makes us happy? The session encouraged students to look beyond material possessions and momentary pleasures and explore the deeper roots of happiness. The session was attended by
Tanishka Bhansali, Bhagwat Rathore, Radhika Parmar, Pranjal Agarwal, Himagouri Bika and Krishna Kumari with their Teacher Incharge - Priyal Chouhan.
Through discussions and interactions, the participants discovered that happiness is shaped by our mindset, relationships, experiences, gratitude, and the way we choose to look at life. A key takeaway was that happiness does not always come from getting something new; often, it comes from recognising and appreciating what we already have. Students also explored how kindness, meaningful connections, helping others, and spreading positivity can create a ripple effect of happiness. Discussions around global happiness rankings, peace, and the role of individuals and communities in building a happier world added a broader perspective to the conversation.
The Baraza sessions made the experience even more engaging, providing students with a space to share personal thoughts, listen to diverse viewpoints, and connect with peers from different backgrounds. These interactions transformed the postcard from a discussion about happiness into an opportunity to experience it through connection, curiosity, and shared learning.
Their encouragement enabled the students to participate confidently and make the most of this enriching Round Square opportunity. Overall, the postcard was a joyful, thought-provoking, and inspiring experience. It reminded that happiness is not always found in grand moments—it can begin with something as simple as gratitude, a kind gesture, a meaningful conversation, or making someone else smile. Most importantly, the session left all with a powerful reminder: happiness grows when it is shared.
