The English Department organised the Inter-House Crown Labyrinth Competition on 14 August 2026 at BRS. Four houses participated in the competition, which provided students with an engaging platform to showcase their knowledge of the English language and literature.
The competition comprised several challenging rounds based on poetic devices, Romantic poets, grammar, and idioms and proverbs. The participants demonstrated excellent literary awareness, linguistic skills, teamwork, and quick thinking throughout the various rounds.
Sri Durga House emerged as the Winners, with Ashmin Sandhu (XII-A), Praniti Singh Choudhary (XI-A), and Rajnandini Bhati (XI-B) putting up an impressive performance.
Sri Shakti House secured the position of First Runners-up. The team comprised Khyati Rathi (XI-D), Naisha Jain (XI-D), and Bhumika Rathore (XI-A).
Sri Bhawani House was represented by Priyadarshini Rathore (XII-A), Riyanshi Nathani (XII-E), and Manvi Gulecha (XI-A), while Sri Ambika House was represented by Adhya Dudi (XI-C), Lavya Balar (XI-D), and Srishti Jain (XI-D). Both teams participated with great enthusiasm and commendable spirit.
The competition was an enriching and enjoyable experience for all the participants. It encouraged students to strengthen their understanding of English while fostering healthy competition, teamwork, confidence, and a love for language and literature. The event concluded on a high note with appreciation for the efforts and performances of all four houses.
