ROUND SQUARE SHOW & TELL

On 5th May 2026, Rajmata Krishna Kumari Girls’ Public School, Jodhpur, proudly participated in the Round Square Worldwide Show & Tell. Centred on the theme “Our country’s natural wonders” the session celebrated innovation, creativity, and student voice in its truest form.

The presentation was conducted by Anika Salecha, Maira Balani, Samik Pahwa, Ayaansh Rathi, Dhawani Shah, Divisha Ratnani, Yevanshi Rathore, Janak Kanwar, Atiksha Parekh, Kavya Vyas, Dhwani Mehta, Divisha Jain, Mishika, Harshi, Yohaan, Samrika, Yashvi, Sabhya, Riyanshi, Lavika, Angel, Niharika, Anviksha, Siddhi, Vamika, Aishwaria, Karishma, Madalsa, Katyayni, and Rajvika under the supervision of Ms Priyal Chouhan.

Students approached the topic with clarity and ownership, presenting Sambhar Lake not just as a geographical feature, but as a unique and living landscape of Rajasthan that sets the region apart. Their delivery reflected strong preparation, with students confidently explaining the lake’s distinctive characteristics, its role in salt production, and its importance as a habitat for migratory birds. The presentation stood out for its balance between factual understanding and engaging storytelling, making it accessible and interesting for both peers and observers.

A key highlight of the session was the confidence and composure demonstrated during the question-and-answer segment. Students responded thoughtfully and clearly, showcasing not only their knowledge but also their ability to think critically and articulate responses under pressure. Their answers reflected genuine understanding rather than rote memorization, which significantly enhanced the overall impact of the presentation.

The session also succeeded in sparking curiosity and engagement among other participants. The unique aspects of Sambhar Lake—such as its salt-producing nature and seasonal transformation—captured attention and led to active participation through questions and discussions. This created an interactive learning environment where students were not just presenters but contributors to a shared exchange of ideas.

Importantly, the presentation served as a meaningful representation of Rajasthan’s natural heritage. By focusing on a lesser-discussed yet significant site, students were able to highlight the richness and diversity of their own region. This fostered a sense of pride and responsibility, reinforcing the idea that understanding and preserving such natural wonders is essential.

Overall, the activity was highly successful in raising awareness, encouraging participation, and building student confidence. It demonstrated how young learners, when guided effectively, can present with depth, clarity, and purpose—leaving a lasting impression while promoting both knowledge and appreciation of their local environment.
