I.T. Orientation Workshop for the
RKK staff was successfully conducted on
9th May 2026 by
Dean I.T, Jasvinder Pal Singh, in the BRS Auditorium. The session lasted for approximately three hours and aimed at enhancing the digital skills, cyber awareness, and technological proficiency of the staff members.
The workshop covered various important topics including
Digital Literacy,
Microsoft Excel, Canva, Basic Troubleshooting, and effective utilization of RKK’s
DCL (Digital Content Library) along with the usage
Britannica Education Subscription for academic content and classroom enrichment.
The major focus of the workshop was on
Cyber Safety and Cyber Awareness. Various real-life and live examples related to cyber frauds, APK Scam, fake links, password security, social engineering, and safe digital practices were demonstrated for better understanding and clarity. The interactive examples helped the staff members relate to real-world cyber threats and understand preventive measures effectively.
Teachers actively participated in the session and showed keen interest in learning modern digital practices useful for classroom teaching and administrative work.
The workshop proved to be highly informative, practical, and beneficial in promoting safe, smart, and efficient use of technology among the staff members.
