The school successfully conducted a 7-day
Inter Cultural Exchange Program – 2026 (Sending) at Seth M R Jaipuria School, Varanasi from 6th to 14th April 2026, providing students with a rich blend of cultural, educational and experiential learning.
14 Students - Lisha Jain, Tia Bishnoi, Tvisha Jain, Navika Vishnoi, Arohi Mathur, Aanvi Agarwal, Abhishree Sharma, Angel Kothari, Bhavya Dave, Kiara Jain, Riddhima Purohit, Devya Rathi, Pragunn Joshi, Vaanya Chopra with their Teacher Escort Ms Chhavi.
Students explored the spiritual essence of the city through visits to Namo Ghat and Assi Ghat (Subah-e-Banaras), and witnessed the mesmerizing Ganga Aarti. A highlight of the visit was the boat ride on the River Ganga, where students experienced the beauty of the renowned 84 ghats of Varanasi, including Kedar Ghat, Harishchandra Ghat, and Dashashwamedh Ghat.
The group also visited prominent religious sites such as Kashi Vishwanath Temple, Kal Bhairav Mandir, and Sankat Mochan Hanuman Temple, gaining insight into the spiritual heritage of the region.
Educational excursions included Sarnath (Dhamek Stupa, Sarnath Temple, and Archaeological Museum with the Ashoka Lion Capital) and the Central University of Tibetan Studies, enriching students’ understanding of history and culture.
Students further explored Ramnagar Fort, Man Mandir Ghat, and Godowlia Market, experiencing the historical and cultural vibrancy of Varanasi. Visits to the Trade Facilitation Centre and Banaras Beads Factory provided practical exposure to traditional craftsmanship and industry practices.
The program featured Art & Craft sessions, music classes, cultural performances, and interactive activities that fostered creativity, confidence, and teamwork among students.
A key highlight was the meaningful interaction with the host school students. Strong bonds were formed through cultural exchange, where students shared experiences, received warmth and hospitality, and exchanged handmade cards as token of love and friendship.
Overall, the program was a well-rounded experience that promoted cultural awareness, personal growth and lifelong learning among students.
