ECO SHIFT – AFS CALENDAR ACTIVITY

Hosted by RKKGPS, Jodhpur

“Small acts, when multiplied by millions of people, can change the world.”

Eco Shift, hosted by RKKGPS, Jodhpur in December 2025, was a month-long initiative built on the belief that small habits practiced over time can create big and sustainable changes. The programme encouraged students and schools to become more mindful of their everyday choices. While aligning actions with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), the activities focused on simple, practical actions such as using handmade paper, reusing water for plants, planting seeds, reducing plastic use and practicing car pooling. These actions supported SDG 12 (Responsible Consumption and Production), SDG 13 (Climate Action), and SDG 15 (Life on Land), helping students connect daily habits with global environmental goals.

A key outcome of Eco Shift was the revival of active and meaningful participation from schools, with students, teachers, and families working together to promote environmental responsibility and sustainable living.

We sincerely thank AFS India for giving us the opportunity to be a part of Eco Shift and for supporting initiatives that align education with the SDGs and inspire young learners to work towards a sustainable future.
