On 19th September 2026, The INTACH National Heritage Quiz – Jodhpur Chapter was organised at Sardar Doon Public School, Jodhpur, bringing together young heritage enthusiasts from different schools across the city. Approximately 35 teams participated in the quiz, providing students with an enriching opportunity to explore and celebrate the rich cultural heritage of Rajasthan and Jodhpur.
Rajmata Krishna Kumari Girls’ Public School, Jodhpur participated enthusiastically in the event with 11 teams, comprising 22 students. The quiz consisted of five challenging rounds, designed to assess and enhance students’ knowledge of history, architecture, art, culture, traditions, monuments, personalities, and the heritage of Jodhpur and Rajasthan.
The students displayed remarkable enthusiasm, teamwork, and curiosity throughout the competition. They gained valuable knowledge about Jodhpur’s historical landmarks, royal legacy, architectural heritage, traditional art forms, cultural practices, and significant historical personalities. The quiz also encouraged the participants to look beyond textbooks and develop a deeper appreciation for the heritage that surrounds them.
Our school successfully secured a place among the Top 9 schools in the competition. This achievement reflects their sincere preparation, collaborative spirit, and keen interest in learning about the cultural and historical heritage of their city.
The event proved to be an informative and enriching learning experience for all the participants. It not only strengthened their heritage awareness but also encouraged them to value, preserve, and take pride in the historical and cultural legacy of Jodhpur.
