“Nurturing a Greener Tomorrow”

Rajmata Krishna Kumari Girls' Public School, Jodhpur, in collaboration with the Rotary Club Padmini, Jodhpur, organised a School Plantation Drive on 29th July 2026 at the newly constructed Yuvraj Shivraj Singh Sports Complex, reaffirming its commitment to environmental sustainability and community responsibility.

The drive witnessed enthusiastic participation from students, teachers, and staff members. Day scholars joined hands with residential boarders, fostering a strong sense of unity and collective responsibility towards protecting the environment. The initiative aimed to enhance local biodiversity, create a greener campus, and contribute meaningfully to climate action.

As part of the campaign, 300 native saplings were planted across the Sports Complex. The plantation included a variety of indigenous species such as Neem, Gulmohar, Champa, Kaner, Jamun, Sheesham, and Bougainvillea, which will provide shade, improve air quality, and enrich the campus landscape in the years to come.

The school's faculty members and campus horticulturists carefully planned the plantation layout and guided students throughout the activity by providing the necessary tools, technical support, and supervision. Students worked in teams of two, three, and four, each assigned to designated plantation zones, ensuring active participation and efficient execution of the drive.
