Rajmata Krishna Kumari Girls’ Public School, Jodhpur, organised a meaningful community outreach visit to Salwa Kallan village with the objective of promoting menstrual hygiene awareness and supporting the health and well-being of rural women. The initiative was conducted in collaboration with the Interact Club of Rotary Padmini and was carried out under the supervision and guidance of Mrs. Rajshree Choudhary, District Chairman RCC and Dean Activity RKK.
During the visit, the team of Project Prayaas actively interacted with the women of the village and sensitively addressed the importance of menstrual hygiene, personal health, and hygiene practices. As part of the programme, 600 sanitary napkins were distributed among the village women to encourage safe and hygienic menstrual practices. This enthusiastic participation reflected the school’s commitment to nurturing compassion, empathy, leadership, and social responsibility among its students.
