On 24th December 2024, 21 students from the Interact Club of RKK, accompanied by Ms. Moomal Rathore, visited Navjeevan Sansthan, an orphanage in Jodhpur. The visit, aimed to nurture empathy, compassion, and a sense of responsibility among the students.
The students brought clothes and books, which were warmly received by the orphanage staff. The highlight of the visit was their interaction with the children, many of whom are mentally and physically challenged. Through shared stories, and conversations, the students created moments of joy and connection that resonated with everyone involved.
The group was impressed by the facilities at Navjeevan Sansthan, including a library, computer lab, auditorium, swimming pool, milk bank, and physiotherapy room. The clean and nurturing environment underscored the dedication of the institution to the holistic growth and education of children aged 0 to 18.
One student reflected, “This experience showed me how small acts of kindness can make a big difference. The children’s positivity and resilience inspired me deeply.” Another added, “It was a day I’ll never forget. Their smiles taught me the importance of gratitude and giving back.”
The visit was a meaningful experience for the students, instilling in them a sense of purpose and humanity. It was a day of learning, growth, and heartfelt connections that left a lasting impact on everyone involved.
