Palmer Trinity School, USA organized a RS Zoom Postcard on the theme -
“Global Perspectives on University Admissions” on 29th January 2025. Students from schools in Armenia, China, Germany, Ghana, India, Namibia, Pakistan, South Africa, UAE and USA came together for the latest RS Zoom Postcard to explore the theme “Global Perspectives on University Admissions”. Students heard about Duke University’s admissions process then broke into 12 Barraza groups across two different sessions to discuss the following questions and presented back to the whole group.
- What system does my country use for university admissions?
- How does this system influence my schooling experience and shape my outlook on my academic future?
- Are there aspects of certain systems you agree with or disagree with? Why?
- Do you find these systems restrictive, overwhelming, or effective?
- If you could design your own university admission system, what would it include and why?
