ICL TRAINING WORKSHOP

An online ICL Training Workshop was conducted on 3rd and 5th December 2024 which was attended by Samaira Dias, Himshikha Purohit, Naysha Choudhary, Divija Kumari Deora of Class IX and Gauree Singh of Class X under the guidance of their teacher-in-charge, Ms. Radhika Singh. The Workshop aimed to enhance respect for diversity, participation and global citizenship. It was led by an expert AFS trainer, who utilized interactive activities and real-life scenarios to engage the participants. Both the sessions were extremely informative and interactive.

The session began with an introduction of AFS and its history followed by the main topic which was ‘Global Citizenship’. Participants actively engaged in group discussions and role-playing exercises, which helped them apply the concepts in real-time situations. During the second session, the SDGs were discussed and how we, as young leaders can bring the change and sustainably improve our earth as one.

By the end of the workshop, attendees gained valuable insights on cultural heritage, respect for all the SDGs and how we, the youth are the changemakers of the future.
