SOUVIK CHAKRABORTY

A Kathak exponent, par excellence, Souvik Chakraborty who honed his skills under the tutelage of renowned Pandit Vijay Shankarji and Smt Madhumita Roy, graced the portals of RKK on 23rd April 2018. Known for his grace and neat footwork, Souvik Chakraborty gave a mesmerizing lecture and demonstration. He was accompanied by Biwajit Pal a skilled Tabla player, Chandrachur Bhattacharya, a wonderful Sitarist and Dinesh Pal, a melodious Singer. Students of Class V to X were awestruck by the amazing Choreography, expressions and coordination among the artists.

Spic Macay was indeed successful in strengthening the cross cultural awareness across the nation which enriches the cultural fibre for every Indian.
