ROUND SQUARE CONFERENCE AT BPS, PILANI - ‘…CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE’


Six delegates, Reet Chouhan, Soniya Jain, Prachi Kalal, Hardikee Vyas, Khushboo Raghav, Nandini Sodha with their escort teacher Mrs Neha Nautiyal boarded their train on 18th November 2017 to attend a Round Square Conference held from 19th to 21st November 2017 at Birla Public School, Pilani. Other schools that participated were Mody School, Laxmangarh, Modern School, Barakhaba Road, Sanskaar Valley, Rajmata Krishna Kumari Girls’ Public School, Jodhpur and the host school Birla Public School, Pilani. The theme for the Conference was ‘…Can Make a Difference’.

The Chief Guest for the Opening Ceremony was Major General Nayyar, AVSM Ati Vishisht Seva Medal. Keynote Speech by Mr Sanjeev Lohiya, Barraza Sessions, Inter Barraza activities, Adventure activities like Gorilla War, Zorbing Ball, Zip Lining, Wall Climbing, Commando Net etc. Art activities, Cultural Evening were highly invigorating and enlightening. Keynote Speaker, Mr Ankur Dhama, first fully blind Athlete inspired the students with his motivational speech describing his own life journey from a simple youth to a Paralympic Athlete. A visit to Mandava Fort added spice to their journey and made a difference in their persona.
