PATHWAYS WORLD SCHOOL, ARAVALI, GURGAON (ROUND SQUARE CONFERENCE)


The five days RS Conference themed “Myriad of Cultures, One Beautiful World” at the Pathways World School, Aravali from 15th to 19th February 2024 had been a wonderful experience since the moment the team reached Gurgaon on the 15/2/24 early morning at the break of dawn.

They were warmly welcomed and escorted to the campus by Mr. Akash Dutta followed by the allotment to them respective rooms. A campus tour was organised wherein the team explored the enormous and beautiful Pathways World School campus situated at the majestic foothills of the Aravali, Gurgaon. The entire campus was a sight to behold with it’s lush green atmosphere and modern architecture but their favourite was the petting zoo as well as the energetic welcome with Tilak, garlands, goodie bags and the beats of Punjabi dhol followed by the registration.

The day ended on a great note with an amazing storytelling session by Ms. Rituparna Ghosh that comprised 3 heart touching, joyful stories from across the world which  brought along laughter, love and life altering lessons.

The next four days were jam packed with varied amusing and insightful activities which began with the formal Opening Ceremony of the conference where a representative from all the participating delegations along with the host school partook in the Flag March. RKK’ s flag was proudly carried by Rutvi Choudhary of Class VII and a Keynote Session by Chief Guest, Mr. Parmath Sinha. It was followed by a Conference Photograph, Barraza Session and a fun filled outing to Vishalgarh Farm.

Day 2 comprised a cheerful game of musical chairs, second round of lively baraza session, keynote address by Mr. Prateek Jalan, who shared his experience and knowledge on internationalism and globalisation.  A glamorous cultural gala was hosted where the participants witnessed marvellous cultural performances inspired by various dance, music and art forms from all over the world leading to a spectacular Director’s Dinner and DJ.

An extraordinary ventriloquism session by Mr. Santosh Kumar, various enriching recreational workshops, fabulous movie and popcorn time and an exciting game of Treasure Hunt were held on the penultimate day.

It ended on a high note with Maggie, electrifying DJ and Dance night.

The trip was concluded with a memorable Closing Ceremony wherein achievements were celebrated and participants were encouraged to apply the knowledge and experience gained. The event served as a reflection of the transformative journey everyone had undertaken together leaving everyone inspired and motivated for their future endeavours with the conference statement. In conclusion, this five days’ conference was an enriching and enjoyable experience that combined learning, networking and entertainment. The well organized itinerary and diverse range of activities ensured that every student had a holistic and memorable experience making it a resounding success.
