On 11 October 2023 a group of
10 students - Ayanaa Beniwal, Reet Mehta, Divyanshi Sisodia, Samiksha, Ridhvika Rathore, Adwitiya Saxena, Jasmitha Pitti, Elina Garg, Akanksha Rathi and Khwahish Parihar with Mrs Neelam Deora set out for IPSC MUN at Maharani Gayatri Devi, Jaipur from 12th to 14th October 2023.
On arrival, they received a warm welcome and explored the school's campus through an engaging tour. In the evening, they had a fun ice-breaking session to get to know one another.
The first day began with a grand opening ceremony featuring fantastic performances that set the stage for the event. They were fortunate to attend an engaging session on Artificial Intelligence by Mr Ashish Sonal. After this enlightening session, all the delegates attended their respective committee sessions.
The second day was filled with back-to-back committee sessions where the delegates showcased their diplomatic and negotiation skills. In the evening, they enjoyed a splendid dinner hosted by the school's Principal. It was a chance to display their talents and appreciate the outstanding performances from other schools. The night ended with dancing and celebrations, leaving them with lasting memories.
The final day started with great anticipation for our last two committee sessions. In the evening, the Closing Ceremony unfolded with a dazzling array of performances by the host school. The curtains fell on the event with an air of grandeur and accomplishment.
Even though they didn't secure a victory in the competition, they viewed this experience as a valuable learning opportunity that enriched their lives.
