INTERNATIONAL EDUCATIONAL TOUR TO BHUTAN

“Travelling leaves you speechless, then turns  you into a storyteller” - Ibn Batuta

A group of 23 students with two teacher  escorts - Ms Deepika Ojha and Ms Aashna Jain under the able guidance of Mr. Praveen Singh Rathore as the teacher Incharge hailed to witness the breathtaking scenic views of Bhutan on 2 June.

The journey was planned for the students of Classes X to XII with an aim of collecting memories and not things. The group visited the four harmonious places of Bhutan - Phuentsholling, Thimphu , Phunakha and Paro. They witnessed the highest statue of lord Buddha, Tashichho Dzong, Punakha Dzong, Zangto Peiri Monastery and the Thimphu fortress . The scenic beauty of the Dochula Pass and the adrenaline rush with great hilarity during the river rafting in the Punakha valley was an unforgettable experience. Exploring the unique flora and fauna of the Lamperi Botanical Park and crossing the  Paro river while walking on the tremulous iron bridge  also added valuable information and thrilled adventure to our trip. Looking deep into the nature and bowing to its majesty during the trek to the Tigers nest at Paro implanted invincible memories.

A lush carpet of pine needles or spongy grass is more welcoming than the most luxurious Persian rug we realised this while encountering the blissful nature of Bhutan- the land of happiness. The journey ended on 11 June with a bag full of memories to cherish forever.
