INTER-HOUSE SCIENCE MODEL MAKING COMPETITION

With the aim of promoting scientific acumen and equip the learners with 21st century learning skills like critical thinking, communication, collaboration and creativity, a Science Model Making Competition was organised for the students of Grade VI, VII and VIII of Rajmata Krishna Kumari Girls’ Public School, Jodhpur.

The students made environment friendly and cost-effective models which had real life application and created awareness about different ways to mitigate Climate Change and Global warming. The event received overwhelming response from the judges.

12 teams participated in the competition and showcased their unique models like ‘Ways to restore Ozone layer’, ‘Switching over to Alternative sources of energy’, ‘Solutions to curb the Pollution’, ‘Restore to use more’, ‘Our climate our Responsibility’, ‘Climate change Mitigation’, etc to name a few.

The students demonstrated functioning of models in an impeccable manner and impressed the judges with their exemplary explanations. It was a successful event.

The House Wise Positions were :

1st Position - Sri Shakti House

2nd Position - Sri Durga House

3rd Position - Sri Ambika House

4th Position  - Sri Bhawani House
