INDIAN HIGH SCHOOL, DUBAI (RS COLLABORATION - SYMPOSIUM ON INTERNATIONAL LITERACY DAY)

“Learning is a treasure that will follow its owner everywhere" says an old Chinese proverb.

Indian High School, Dubai organized a day symposium on International Literacy Day on 8th  September 2022. RKK proudly participated in this event with its team of four students - Ojaswini Rathore, Harshita Bhati, Kavya Choudhary, Santosh Kanwar with their Teacher Incharge Ms Neetu Kheechee. IHS gave a fair opportunity to students to introduce their language to the rest of the world in the most effective ways. The Keynote Speaker for the evening was the founder of IHS, Dr. Mansoor Al Obeidli. He expressed his views on language as a  global expression to emotions as it is the road map of a culture. It tells us where its people come from and where they are going. Students were divided into various barazza rooms. In breakout rooms students discussed their expression through verbal and non-verbal mode. It was an enriching learning experience at international level where they presented self-composed poems, participated in online quiz etc. Students enjoyed the event and participated with full zeal and enthusiasm.

Bringing people of various cultures together and binding them through common language of love and humanity was the core aim of this symposium. Common issues and challenges to world literacy were discussed in depth.
