These lines by Mark Twain are sufficient enough to portray the beauty and splendour of the country that India is. And if that was not enough, a
National Level Tableau Making Competition organised by Jodhamal Public School, Jammu on 07th August 2022 successfully showcased the rich heritage of the beautiful states of India.
The competition was organised for students of Class VIII to X under the aegis of
AFS India, wherein the participants were required to record a video capturing the tableau and showcasing the different parts of the model. They were required to highlight the different traditions of the selected state and submit the same before 28th July 2022.
On 7th August 2022, all the participating schools were invited to join virtually for the Result Declaration and Award Ceremony. The participants were awestruck as they witnessed a memorable afternoon of stupendous display of Tableaus created by schools from all across India. The participants used their ingenuity and creativity in designing and presenting the beauty of their selected states.
The Team RKKGPS comprised
Adwitiya Saxena, Vanshika Bajaj, Achalroop Kaur and Naavya Rathi. Adwitiya gave a cinematic display through lights and music thereby displaying the colours of Rajasthan through its festivals. Naavya presented a beautiful display of the monuments of Rajasthan. Achal Roop Kaur showcased the beauty of the lively state of Punjab while Vanshika presented the culture, food and heritage of the scenic state of Sikkim. The team was guided and mentored by Teacher In-charges Maám Aashna Jain and Maám Amba Singh.
The icing on the cake was that
Rajmata Krishna Kumari Girls’ Public School Jodhpur bagged the Second Position for the Best Tableau. The First position was grabbed by Delhi Public School, Bhopal and Third position was taken by Pratap World School.
