SESSION FOR TEACHERS (CYBER SAFETY AND SECURITY)

The session on Cyber Safety and Security was conducted for all the academic and non-academic teachers of RKK on 16th July 2022 by RKK’s faculty, Ms Nupur Goyal. The session focused on Cyber safety and the risks involved when dealing online. It focused on various risks like virus attacks, cyber stalking, picture morphing and deep fakes, impact of online gaming on kids, social trolling, etc. Later various recommendations in the form of do’s and don’ts were shared for various social media platforms which included smart surfing, being Facebook and WhatsApp safe, e-mail security tips, how to prevent e-frauds and various safety tips related to mobile phones were discussed. Finally, the queries of the teachers were solved regarding the potential threat they are experiencing in their day-to-day life.
