INTER HOUSE HINDI DEBATE COMPETITION

“It is better to debate a question without settling it than to settle a question without debating it.”

Inter House Vaad Vivad Pratiyogita was organised for Classes XI and XII on 15th July 2022.  Two students from the same house spoke for and against the following topics :

• Should yoga be taught in school?
• Should children below sixteen years be allowed to drive?
• Is practical knowledge necessary?
• Technology a boon or a bane.

All the participants showed absolute confidence and aplomb while debating for their topic. The honourable Jury for the competition comprised Mrs Shanno Sharma and Mr Deen Dayal.

After a strong and fierce competition amongst the participants, Bhavi Kumbhat from Durga House and Kanak Joshi from Sri Ambika House were declared as the ‘Best Speakers’. Sri Sheetal Johari from Sri Bhawani House was declared as the ‘Second Best Speaker’.

 
The House-wise positions were :

1st Position : Sri Durga House

2nd Position: Sri Ambika House

3rd Position : Sri Bhawani House

4th Position : Sri Shakti House
