Round Square Zoom Postcard Call on the theme, ‘School Leadership and how Round Square participation plays a role' was organised by St. Andrew's School for Girls, South Africa on 13th July 2022. Nehal Gehlot, Udita Singh, Vidhi Porwal, Avantika Mishra, Deeksha Garg and Shoba V D with their Teacher Incharge Mrs Reema Rathore grabbed the opportunity to broaden their horizons by learning the art of leadership.

The event started with the introduction of the host school. The host school talked about various events and Inter House Competitions of their school. The host school discussed the importance of communication in leadership, explained that how a leader is a tone setter & mood setter of the team & how leadership helps in managing and controlling tasks. After that there was a discussion on the importance of women in leadership that how leadership qualities can help women socially and emotionally. All the participants were then divided into different barraza groups in which many questions were discussed. About the importance of a leader, what defines a leader, qualities required to be a good leader, how leadership helps in everyday life, what is the importance of student leadership, what should be a leader’s vision & how Round Square helps in developing leadership qualities in students. After some fruitful discussions the 60 minutes call ended with a vote of thanks by the host school.

All the participants were thrilled to know about the concept and importance of leadership.
