Inside every child is a rainbow waiting to shine so in order to inculcate reading as well as writing habits a COMIC STRIP competition was organised for the students of class III- V. Comic strips are the best means to develop “Short Story Construction”.
Creative Writing is the essence to thinking through fingers. The students were divided into groups and a story setting was provided to them. They were also given uniform characters a King , a Magician, a Farmer and Children. The children were given the liberty to use supporting characters of their choice.
Seeing the budding writers come up with creative ideas and participate with great enthusiasm was a literary treat to eyes as well as the ears.
Every short story culminated with a moral. Hence displaying the importance of moral teaching in their budding minds.
