Independence Day Celebration

 The bright and promising future of India, our students of Nursery – Five had a fun filled week of Independence day celebrations, where they were first introduced to the meaning of “freedom”. They were told the story of India's Freedom struggle little by little every day. The students celebrated orange, white and green day and were made aware of the important national symbols by way of an art craft activity. Various Mass displays with props and recreational games were conducted and videos were uploaded. They also learnt about eminent Indian Sports Persons and their achievements. An Art Competition was also conducted as per CBSE guidelines to celebrate ‘Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav’.
Last but not the least, the children were made aware of their responsibilities and duties toward their motherland and the little things that they could do, to keep the tricolor flying high.
